Member Types - New for 2008
Associate: Appraisers ($375 per year)
Persons engaged in real estate appraising but who are
non-designated members shall be referred to as an
Appraiser-Associate until such time an application for Candidate
status is approved by the Admissions Committee. Each shall agree
in writing, as evidenced by the signing of the official
application form, to be governed by and uphold the Bylaws of the
Association, its code of ethics, the lawful directives of its
officers and directors, and comply with the Appraisal Foundation
re-certification requirements.
Associate: Affiliate ($195 per year)
Associates are persons in fields related to real estate
appraising but who are not practicing appraisers. The Associate
may, at a later date, elect to become a candidate, and providing
all membership criteria is met, elevate to a designated status.
Associate: Professional ($245 per year)
Business Partner Corporate Membership. This category
includes corporations businesses, vendors in fields related to
real estate appraising, but who are not practicing appraisers.
This category is not extended to individual persons.
Candidate ($375 per year)
An Appraiser member may apply for Designation Candidacy
by completing the Board approved Experience Rating Form (ERF).
The ERF shall be submitted to the Admissions Committee for
approval into the Candidate Program. A Candidate shall have no
voting rights on national issues, nor hold any national office
in any capacity within the Association. Candidates may hold
office on the chapter level and vote on chapter issues, only
with the express permission of the designated chapter members.
IFA, IFAA, IFAC, IFAS ($475 per year)

The NAIFA Certified Appraisal Reviewer Program
